Registration Policies
Registration/enrollment in any of our classes or workshops means that you have read and agree to the following Registration Policies. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, so please check back for the most up-to-date policies.
- We are a process art and sensory play studio. Focusing on the process rather than the final product allows children to explore their creativity, learn through experimentation, and enjoy the experience of making art without the pressure of creating something perfect. It’s great to emphasize sensory play and artistic exploration, as these can be so beneficial for children's development.
- Requiring parents or caregivers to attend class with their child is beneficial, as it allows for shared experiences and supports the child’s engagement in the process. It also helps caregivers understand and facilitate their child's creative exploration at home. A caretaker is required to stay with their child throughout the entirety of the class.
- Once enrolled, you may request to transfer to a different class, subject to availability. Transfers are possible if there is space in the class you wish to join. Please contact us to check availability and facilitate the transfer process no less than 5 days before the start of the enrolled class.
- In the event that minimum enrollment requirements are not met, we reserve the right to cancel the class. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued to all enrolled participants.
- Dress for Mess: Please ensure your child wears clothing that can get messy. We encourage messy play! Suitable footwear is required at all times. Please have your child wear closed-toe shoes to ensure safety and comfort during class. We are not responsible for any damages during class. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
- To ensure the safety of all children, we encourage all food consumption to take place outside of class whenever possible. We try to take food allergies very seriously.
Behavior and Safety Guidelines
To maintain a positive and safe environment for all participants, we have established the following guidelines:
- Respect and Safety: Children are expected to follow directions, respect materials, and be considerate of other students. Any behavior that is disruptive or unsafe, or that causes harm to others or studio property, will not be tolerated.
- Parental/Caregiver Responsibility: Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervising and managing their child’s behavior during class. This ensures a constructive experience for everyone involved.
- Enrollment and Withdrawal: We reserve the right to require a child to withdraw from the class or decline enrollment if their behavior is consistently disruptive or unsafe. Our priority is to create a supportive and respectful environment for all.
No Illness Policy
Illness Policy and Risk Disclaimer:
- Stay Home When Sick: If you or your child show any signs of illness, please do not attend class or workshop. This includes any symptoms of illness, not just fever.
- 72-Hour Rule: Children must be fever-free and symptom-free for 72 hours before returning to or attending any class, party, or event.
- COVID-19 Precautions: If anyone in your household or someone you have been in contact with is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from attending class.
- Adherence to Policy: While our illness policy is clearly stated and we expect all participants to adhere to it, some parents may not comply. Please note that you and your child are participating at your own risk. We assume no responsibility for any illnesses or germs contracted in our studio classes.
- Health and Safety: To maintain a healthy environment, we reserve the right to ask any parent and child to leave if they appear to be sick. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
